WILDLIFE CAMERA TRAPPING FOR FAMILIES workshop on 3rd June 2023

Wildlife camera trapping for families

Saturday 3rd June 2023, 10.30am-2.30pm

Conference Room and woodlands, Crathes Castle

This FREE family-oriented and interactive event will help you learn how to set up and use a camera trap and will share information on the species which you might come across in the NE of Scotland. Nick Littlewood and Rose Toney from the North East Scotland Mammal Network will give you handy tips and advice that will help you make the most out of a camera trap. There might be the opportunity to borrow a camera trap if you do not have access to one.

Camera traps are a great resource helping to record wildlife which you might not otherwise see due to the secretive activity of some animals. Wildlife recording is ever more important and a great way for children to get involved. The event will be indoors in the morning and outside in the afternoon. Bring a packed lunch and dress for the weather.

Aimed at families with children 8 and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
